Sorry no pictures

C'est dommage. I have taken so many and they look lovely when combined with music and gently transitioned one to another on my new Macbook screen. C'est la vie...As I type on this French keyboard, some of the others are in the big commercial style kitchen finishing the prep for the meal under the tutelage of a really nice, real French chef that Judi asked to come over tonight. He has been tres patient with us! I do not know the names of the dishes he has tried to teach us to prepare but I took some pix and will try to remember. The protein part is cod, rolled and drizzled with olive oil and will be covered with a pesto crust and baked with white wine. Oh yes...and asparagus (asperges) flan, and creme brulee that has been prepared all but the caramelizing. Today we went to Bonnieux, a lovely village in the Luberon mountains. Provence is very hilly, almost mountainous, but somehow I don't mind. While they drive us to our destinations, we see clusters of ochre colored hillside villages arising from the stones. And that is exactly how they came to be. Stone upon stone. We all ate at an outside cafe because that is where the French eat. My! How beautifully everything is served.

I am so glad I came. As I said today, I had no agenda other than to come and to be. To smell the air, be under the Provencal sun, and see the colors both God made and man made. So far I have accomplished my non-agenda.
