It is not lavender season. That will be in a few weeks. But the mounds are full of long slender, new green, graceful leaves and will soon be full of their namesake color. You will see them here in at St. Remy in the the same place that Van Gogh painted. Look closely to find the two women painting.
Poppies are close to the end of their growing season but still plentiful. With their signature red, they color every place we have seen whether in single blossoms that seem to take their lives straight from a rock or in fields along the country roads. I do not know the names of other flowers, but here are some photographs. Pretty.
