A Provencal Tree

We saw many of these large lovely trees in Provence. The name of it sounds like "teal" in French pronunciation, and I think the English spelling is tilia. (Here in the USA I think they are linden trees.) In Arles, they had new buds, but in the Luberon Valley, they were full of ravishing blooms. Our guide told us they have a fruit similar to the lime. Some part of the tree can be used as a "sleepytime" tea. At one vineyard, they were full and ripe and buzzing with bee life.
