Tour Eiffel

I made it to the Eiffel Tower! I was hiking down the street and when I looked to the right, wondering if I could possibly be close, there it was, stretching high in the sky. I had no idea it was in such a huge park. There were many large green sections filled with boys and men playing soccer and petanque. That is a new word I just learned from the nice girl at the desk here in the hotel. There were families and lovers, school children, pigeons and dogs and horses, bicycles, buses, and motor scooters, and and a few other wandering tourists like me with cameras in hand.
